The Inshore Fishing Tradition on the North East and Yorkshire Coast
The Coble and Keelboat Society (CKS) has for 30 years been researching and preserving the history of the Coble Coast – from the River Tweed to the Humber. CKS members are fishermen, authors, poets, artists, model makers and maritime historians amongst others who have wide interest in the maritime heritage of the North East and Yorkshire Coast. Individual members own sailing and motor cobles and other working craft.
